Danelle
Danelle’s love of hair began at a young age, when she was introduced to the industry as a model for Smithers in Malvern. Inspired by the incredibly talented Jacky King, she quickly fell in love with the creativity, confidence and transformation that great hair can create.
Danelle started her four-year apprenticeship in 1988 with Rick Page in Mont Albert and The Colour Co. in East Doncaster, building a strong foundation in cutting, colouring and styling. Over the years, Danelle has also had the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s most respected names, including Kevin Murphy.
In 1993, Danelle opened Perfect Image Designers of Hair in Flemington, and more than 33 years later she is still just as passionate about hair, her clients and her team.
As a Master Stylist, Danelle is highly skilled in all aspects of colour, cutting and styling, looking after a wonderfully diverse clientele, including actors, models, sporting personalities and the airline crew, as well as many loyal clients who have trusted her with their hair for decades.
She is incredibly proud of the team she has built at Perfect Image and is passionate about training, mentoring and developing the next generation of hairdressers, ensuring every client who walks through the salon doors receives the same high standard of care, skill and attention that Perfect Image has been known for since 1993.
jaNINE
Janine started her career in 1989, training at Geelong’s Gordon Institute - completing her apprenticeship at The Look in Hoppers Crossing. Janine went on to work in Wellington NZ, honing her skills, retuning to Australia as a stylist at the exclusive Salon Bliss in Mount Martha. Over the years, Janine has also styled at Perfect Image, and we are pleased to welcome her to the Perfect Image Family. Janine is a master stylist experienced in all facets of colour, cutting, and styling.
Ashleigh
19 years behind the chair
Ashleigh started her hairdressing journey as an apprentice at Perfect Image, and 19 years later, she is still doing what she loves, making people feel amazing, one haircut and colour at a time.
Ash is passionate about hair, good chats and, most importantly, coffee (because 19 years in this industry requires caffeine!).
Still learning, still creating, and still loving every minute of it.
KATIE
Katie has always had a strong passion for the beauty and fashion industry and loves seeing the transformations that can be created through hair.
After completing her Diploma of Screen and Media Makeup at the Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup, Katie’s growing passion and slight obsession with hair led her to begin her hairdressing apprenticeship at Perfect Image Hair.
Friendly, creative and enthusiastic, Katie is excited to learn all aspects of hairdressing, build her skills and grow within the industry. She loves being part of the Perfect Image Hair team and learning from the experienced stylists around her.
Katie is looking forward to developing her own style, building strong relationships with clients and creating beautiful hair along the way.
Ava
Our youngest (and funnest!) scrubber. Having just finished school, Ava is embracing life experiences before heading to university in a year’s time. She has an interest in hair and beauty, and engaging with the local community, building lasting relationships with clients. Although not doing an apprenticeship, we can only hope that Ava hangs around, and we know that she loves the perks of the job!
jamie
Jamie has been part of the Perfect Image team for almost 20 years, starting her hairdressing journey right here with us. She’s still creating beautiful hair, catching up with familiar faces and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Some things never change!
